TogetHER in Downtown Oakville is an International Women's Day event is a celebration of the Downtown Oakville businesses owned and operated by female entrepreneurs as well as the larger Oakville community of businesswomen. Join us for a panel discussion featuring a group of local businesswomen (participants TBD) After the panel, join us for networking, complimentary headshots and special in-store events.

For every attendee, the Downtown Oakville BIA will donate $10 to the Women's Centre of Halton up to $1000. The Halton Women's Centre supports women who are experiencing crisis or distress, or who are in transition. They empower women to be their best self. The Women’s Centre is a place to learn, grow, get support, and become empowered.

In commemoration of International Women's Day, we unveil "TogetHER" — a statue pedestal devoid of a statue. This symbolizes a dedicated space for girls and women globally who are carving their mark in history. Remarkably, just over 10% of public monuments across Canada recognize women, highlighting the pressing need for greater representation.
