Orange Crosswalk Unveiling

Oakville's first orange crosswalk is located at the intersection of Thomas Street and Church Street.  The crosswalk provides the community with a chance to honour the children of residential schools and the generational impact on Indigenous communties in Canada. The crosswalk also encourages learning about the treaty lands which Oakville lives on.
